Welcome, My name is Karina, thank you for your interest in learning more about us.
When folks ask me “what do you do? ” with a smile I say “ I am a missionary, interior designer, business owner, wife."
How do all these pieces and persons fit together?
I started my very first business at the age of sixteen in my home country of Venezuela, and shortly afterward, launched into my formal training in fashion & visual merchandising. For over 30 years I explored and expanded my love for creative design.
My joy for interior design has always been a creative, passionate outlet, something that felt natural, like an inborn gift from my Creator.

Our mission is to provide a safe, loving and Christ-centered place called The Nest where children are nurtured, taught about Jesus, and protected from sexual abuse.
To connect marginalized girls and women to the knowledge and riches of the Gospel by becoming a bridge between them and Christian women and churches in North America.
VACATION RENTALS

In 2018, my mother had to flee Venezuela’s political and economic turmoil. God gave me the vision to create a sanctuary as well as build a business to support her, in our 1950 home, a safe place for her to live and thrive after losing her homeland of 74 years.
This is how our vacation rentals were inspired, imagined, and completed.
